LA composite´s task is to co-operate in design, engineering and manufacturing of prototypes of all parts made of composites. In case of this aircraft, it concerns all primary structures: fuselage, wings, stabilisators as well as undercarriage, stator and rotor of propulsor etc.

Project description

Development project of ultralight aircraft with ducted fan is made together with CVUT Prague (Czech Technical University), LA composite and Jihlavan Airplanes. The project started 1 January 2011, anticipated completion of the project including first flight is in the middle of 2015.

The project name is „Ultralight aircraft with ducted fan,“ project identification Nr. FR-TI3/527.

​

The project is financed by contribution of Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Czech Republic, as a part of programme project TIP.

​

First flight test was conducted in May 2016.
